It would never be same again even it it did make a miraculous comeback. And if that comeback made SONAR a better product than it was, it would take too long to regain my confidence in its staying power.

As John Lennon once said, "The dream is over".

I'm not sure; perhaps a one-shot correction of as many of the little bugs as can be found. At this point, I think the features are so rich that I could exist for years on them and feel like I could do everything I want. So. maybe not a monthly update, but a really robust one-time update would work for me. And, of course, the fee would have to  be very fair.

Hey, Keni.

Sup'? How ya doin'?

Hi Beepster!

Trying to ignore the reality and continue making music with Sonar...

Last month I released my new (10th) album. 8th to be done with Cakewalk/Sonar. I'm well not my next album continuing on with Sonar. My tool of choice! 🎸

What about you? What's goin' on!

Not a chance I am looking into Studio One. Gibson handled the shut down terribly. Also it would be nice to hear something from who ever is left at Cakewalk.  Stealth mode activated. It has been a little more than a month since it happened. Maybe it is going to be released as Philips on Cake or Philips Walking Cake. LOL. Going to miss this Forum the most as it has helped me out a lot.

Ha! Right on man. Ain't no holding a man possessed back, eh?

I'm still working on my first... but I been workin' haaaard on it. I think it's gonna be a goodun'.

Cheers, bro. I'll be over at beyondcake if this place sinks BTW.

I'm like the slightly "off" in the noodle triangle player for the band on the Titanic who got the gig because he's the viola player's wife's little brother.

Imma gonna smash that triangle until the ship goes down.

Not a chance - I'm already done, and moving on very well with q replacement which I've discovered is better in almost every way.  As LOSTinSWIRL adds, the biggest loss is this forum.  The S1 place is very sterile by comparison.

There's a lot of ex-Sonar people there, and a good dedicated thread.  But it doesn't have the vibe of either 'upstairs' here, or the Coffee House.  Cake people developed a rapport I guess, and not sure if the other forums would like that!

You're probably right, which is why some of us have gathered together elsewhere
