Only 'DJ'd' once, in 1978. My pal Tim and I were asked by our friend to take over his hospital radio show for one Saturday evening. 
 
Being 18, we thought it would be a good idea to take a bottle of Captain Morgan rum to 'loosen us up', and bring our own records.
 
We quickly got bored of 'spinning' the usual playlist of Sinatra, big band tunes, classical and easy listening, and treated the wards to Jethro Tull, The Who, XTC, Monty Python and others...complete with increasingly tipsy and surreal between song links..
 
Strangely, he never asked us again.
