I recently bought Superior drummer 2 and EZKeys.  This comes with EZplayer pro and Solo.  I thought that the intent was you could use Solo/EZplayer Pro and build tracks with SD2 and EZK. Solo loads SD2 just fine but not EZKeys.  EZPpro has "paths" you can set to get to the VST's. I have set these every way possible. EZK will show up in  EZP as a track, but when played back....is drums.  I have set the output type to piano in EZK. It makes no difference. Anyone else experience this? Toontracks support forum quite frankly is inadaquate and their portal for support is slow.

EZ Keys has it's own standalone version and therefore wasn't designed to work in EZplayer or Solo.  I can't comment on whether EZplayer or TTSolo will be redesigned to incorporate that product because I just don't know.  I'd venture a guess that it won't because of the standalone version availability.  But I could be wrong.

Thanks Dave. I saw that you were a beta tester.  I guess I just totally misunderstood the intended functionality.  The thing that is weird is that EZPP has a menu for  changing midi output to piano.  I can certainly build tracks in X1 but I have had so much trouble with alignment of SD2 drum loops to each other that I was looking for another alternative.

Just for reference here's two EzPlayer Pro videos. I found them handy back in the day.

And don't forget to update your new purchases if you haven't already.

Ezplayer Pro only plays midi back through what it is linked to. If you're hearing drums then you must have EzPlayer Pro linked to drum software. EzPlayer Pro only has midi in it.

I understand it is simply a sequencer.  It has a menu which allows you to set different paths. These are titled drums, piano, bass etc.  I tried setting the path to all different ways of getting to EZ Keys.
In stand alone mode, as vst in Cake, etc.   It  just doesnt work with using EZplayer as a VST.  Obviously, I can certainly construct by importing into X1. I am assuming as Dave said, it  is not supposed to work using EZkeys as a VST plug.
