Visited this
amazing place at The Lakes yesterday (that's one heck of a fancy neighborhood).
It isn't as
unique as the previous one was we had hoped to get, but, as a matter of fact, it's even nicer. A lot. And much newer too.
High ceilings and the place doesn't feel as dark, even if we aren't that exposed to sunlight.
And no need to worry about the typical neighbor from hell who didn't do the landscaping for 3 generations and has the place infested w/ spiders and scorpions and all...
The room I'll use for my set up isn't much bigger than the one I intended to use in the other house, but this time, I'll be on the second floor, w/ a nice view - and the carpet mens that the room isn't as echo-ey as that other one.
One of the cool things is that we won't need to re-paint the whole thing. Unlike other houses we've considered, this one we feel we just can leave as is - mostly white and very light. Though I'll probably need my traditional deep red wall in the studio...
So we're moving. March 20th.
And I can't wait!!
