Geeesh, my second guess was the wolf lays down with the lamb, I needed to think bigger.

Just beware of......

Now the question is:
"What would Bub have posted, if he had seen this?"

One thing that's obvious, regardless of Bub's status, we all need to work on our sheep quotes.

I've only been banned once. So I B-1. I think there may be B-6's running through these forums!
I B-2.

It's an occupational hazard, if you clearly state your view out in the open or talk about 'bags' there is a risk that your posting priviledge will revoked.

Bub just says what he thinks so he runs the risk.

Nobody ever got banned for saying +1 ya, or just for being agreeable.

Being banned can merely indicate some substance in ones character and the views they are prepared to put forward, I think certainly in Bub's case that is true.

I like Bub and we don't always agree with each other.

I earned my first ban in a deliberate attempt to illuminate the behaviour of a few others, my second ban happened as a result of disagreeing with a Cakewalk evangelist over the idea that Cakewalk were a bit silly developing PC only modules when they were just restricted VST's.  The counter to that from said evangelist was that Cakewalk would save money by not having to support their plug-ins on other platforms which I pointed out in no uncertain terms that as a reason to develop PC only plugs was complete hogwash.
Fast forward a couple of years and now we see Cakewalks major item on display at winter Namm is a standard version of a previous PC module that works on any platform and now everybody is saying what a cool idea that is.

<shrugs>

Now there's a possibility I could get banned for pointing that fact out so should I have said;

+1, Ya, Monkeys eat Becan instead?

Not only is Bub a fully paid up customer of the brand, he's also a valuable member of a community of customers that the vendor ought to be welcoming and listening to rather than banning.

Some companies view your input as a customer as being helpful and you get invited to clarify your stance if you have a valid criticism and I've had emails from staff of some firms following up genuine criticisms to see what can what can be done.  Here you do run the risk of getting chucked off for saying perinent stuff.
