When will they learn that we've survived for tens of thousands of years without being told food is bad for us?  If it's as bad as they say then how come we're still here?

At least they don't mention BECAN

The Maillard Reaction
We've only been processing processed meat with the current crop of chemicals and juicy juices for about 30 years.

We've only been eating GMO grains and vegetables for about 20.

Our meat has been eating GMOs for a bit longer... it hasn't hurt any of the stock animals and most of those critters live to 4 years of age so it must be ok.

We've only been over dosing on high fructose corn syrup for about 15 years... all the folks drinking 2 big gulps a day are going to have their liver's explode just like they were life long alcoholics.

Most people put up with the lack of food in the food supply because they aren't going to start a garden or go hunting.

That's a lame excuse for poisoning yourself with the junk they sell at super markets.

Food is the second most important thing in your life... why do so many people acquiesce to dependency on super markets that do a bad job of handling and selling food?

Lately, we've been getting into heirloom beans and enjoying the incredibly wide variety of beans that we buy from places that actually sell food.

best regards,
mike

What is processed meat? Processed meat refers to meat that has been preserved by smoking, curing, salting or adding preservatives. Examples include ham, bacon, pastrami and salami, as well as hot dogs and some sausages. Hamburgers and minced meats only count as processed meat if they have been preserved with salt or chemical additives.

To be fair, the article doesn't say "food is bad for us".

So much of our food is "processed" with chemicals and unnatural pruducts, it's no surprise that people are being affected with everything from cancer to death. While most of these products are marketed as "New & Improved".......BS.

Even after all these years of "processed" foods being around, I'm still can't wrap it around my head that we're actually paying extra for things that are grown naturally..... i.e....organic.

Modern science at it's best.....

Everything in moderation. You can die eating salad too, and don't think they don't add things to it.
