Know the law, know your rights....

it helps to be a law student too. The average person doesn't know their rights and this scenario would
likely have not played out this way with them.

I did not find the video funny but I did enjoy seeing a citizen stand up for his rights.

Open carry tends to freak people out....especially the un-educated with respect to guns and the sheeple can't cope with it well either.

I notice that people tend to be friendly to you when you open carry. You tend to get more smiles, more "hey how are you doing.... hope you're having a nice day"... more thank you's....and good service too.

That guy didn't seem polite... he seemed like a total ass wipe.

The officer and his colleague seemed polite.

He will be lucky if makes it through life flaunting his open carry privilege without confusing some one and  getting stand-your-grounded by some other well meaning sociopathic citizen.

I'll bet he would hide that thing and actually start acting polite if he ever found himself in a dark alley with some strangers who didn't care about his silly video camera.

Bearing in mind recent events, and that the police are there to protect citizens and uphold the law, this guy was being a complete smart-arsed jerk. Nothing clever, brave or funny about that to me.

Ya.
I agree with McQ and James here.
That guy was just being a richard cranium.

It's people like him that give gun owners a bad name too.

Wow.

I never thought I'd see the day when a law abiding citizen stands up for himself and get ridiculed for it.
