With just Bandpage, maybe all those music sites such as; SC, SClick, RN, BC, MS, SM, LF, PS, JD, LM, HT, RB, HG, CB, DD, M. iL, NM, and OS, will 'all' be unnecessary! So what do ya' think?

I won't be able to try BandPage for a while..... short-story; I have to wait.

I was just watching another video about using BandPage; 'Your Direct Links' to very easily and quickly utilize across multiple sites. Very cool!

It sure does appear very impressive, it's way more than just a music player. That's why I wanted to share this info with you guys.

Take care, wish you all great success!

I see SongCraft - let's share some experiences at some point in the future

If this tool does half of what it promises then I think I'll be a happy user. Unless of course the hidden costs - if any - are somewhat ridiculous

Will do

And yes, there's that thought about hidden costs, it did cross my mind but until someone can verify then I'll just have to wait and see. But even if like you said; get half of what it promises then that will do fine. All the other stuff such as; merchandise, can be utilized easily by another app or links.

OK, finally got round to digging up more info about bandpage. Someone had asked a question in regards to costs?

BandPage is a free service on the basic level, which includes BandPage on Facebook as well as the Website Extension, and several other widgets that you can use to embed on your own blog or website. You can choose to upgrade for 1.99/month or 19.99/year and have some more customization options with the BandPage on Facebook!

How do I add music?

1) Login to BandPage.com and select the BandPage that you wish to edit.

2) Choose the "Create My Profile" tab from the top navigation bar

3) Select the "Music" tab from the left side menu

4) Click on the blue "+Add" button

5) Choose from either SoundCloud, Youtube, or Your Computer

6) If you choose to add from Youtube, you can sync up your account by following these instructions and we'll pull in any videos that you have uploaded!  But don't worry, we allow you to choose which ones you want to sync with your BandPage.

7) Adding from SoundCloud will provide you with a tracklist of all your tracks on SoundCloud that you can choose from.  Be sure that you have all your SoundCloud settings done correclty

8) Choosing to upload from your Computer will enable you to upload tracks directly to SoundCloud and will create a free SoundCloud account for you at the same time!

I would prefer to add Audio Files directly from my computer without having to go through SoundCloud.

The trouble with Bandpage, Soundcloud and all these other stream-your-own-music sites is that they stream at a rather disappointing 128kbps (MP3), which is how things used to be in the bad old days when iTunes first started. So you're not really showing your music in its best light. I'm always surprised that so many people on music sites like this are asking for critiques of their mixes uploaded on Soundcloud - the quality ain't that great.

To be honest I think the best way to promote your music and make tracks available for streaming is via your own blog (plenty of free blog hosting sites and templates) with YouTube videos embedded in them. YouTube is pretty much the highest quality audio of them all - as long as you upload the video at 720p or higher, the audio bit rate is 192kbps AND it's AAC compression which is higher quality than MP3 to start with. It's very easy to make a video out of a track using Windows Movie Maker, and uploading to YouTube is quite fast these days too.

Bandzoogle (see my sig)allows streaming at the original bitrate. It does limit the amount of tracks I can upload, but I reckon I'll still get around 12 - 15 tunes in the player before it maxes out.
