Just an FYI, but for maple necks, Tung oil works well (I know you said "rosewood fretboard" so I didn't offer this before, but then thought someone might find it useful).  Most maple necks are left "raw" so they don't feel sticky.  Unfortunately, this means you need to find another way to care for them.

I like this guitar better, and you did not see it, in case I find the money to buy it, but then I should buy a drum set instead so I probably won't buy the guitar because...............I play drums better than guitar. But then I am a keyboard player and have to finish foolin' around with a song so later. http://www.sweetwater.com..re/detail/LPTRFW5CH-13/ This message is also "undefined" in preview.

What sort of oil would you use on that one spacealf?
I use brake fluid on mine.

Eh? Brake fluid? You'll have to check over at the Gibson Guitar Forum whether it be Dot 3 kind or another kind. Actually I use Automatic Steering Fluid on it, since it is red in color also and bring out that deep red shine on it. (and it automatically steers also!)

For older gear be sure to use a thicker oil like 5W-30...
