Just been hunting around for more info on my beloved Epiphone Spotlight. There's a Facebook group devoted to them, and from what I can gather from posts, there were only around 150 of them ever made. It's really weird knowing that the guitar you grew up with is so (relatively) unique, and equally as weird to hear from some of the other owners. I bought mine, come to think of it, in 1988 when I was 14 years old. Got it mail order from an ad in a guitar mag, without even trying it out I had to have it. Figured I couldn't go wrong with an Epiphone and I loved the shape. Ebanol fretboard, EMG Selects. Haven't seen it for a few years because it's back home in England but as I recall it needs some work.
