Well that's cool.

Honestly I am quite pleased and happily working with SPLAT (Manchester) and for the few things I need it to do that it craps the proverbial bed over I just switch to Reaper then bring it back into SONAR.

I could easily create like this for the next 20 years by just locking down my system.

The bigger issue is how long my rig (and its various components) will last and how long MS and the manufacturers will build crap that'll work with Win7. My main concern is a MOBO fryout and not being able to load my reg'd OEM copy of Win7 to run this stuff (I built the rig myself).

So I guess my point is... SONAR is already doing pretty much every durned thing I need it to and the few things it don't I've found workarounds via other applications.

If they make SURE that reg'd SONAR/Cakewalk customers are able to secure the media and receive the reg codes for new installs... then that's pretty much all I think they can do.

Man#$%^in chester!?

Gosh man get with it. :-)

I know, man. I just was able to make music without any weirdness since then. That's really all I wanted/needed but I intend to (and always did) get updated with all the goodies.

I don't see me getting borked up artistically by Cake shutting down at this point. If it had happened before X3? Oh I would have not been a happy Beeps at all (curse you X2!!!) but I'm good now.

Still waiting to see what happens with the Cake situation though. I hope something happens that allows things to continue in some form or another.

The durned thing was spawned in a garage, tweren't it? It should still have some spunk in it even if it just took a shovel to the head.

Things spawned in garages are kind of jerks like that.
