... I lurked around on the Premonus forums and came across an interesting thread in regards to how well Studio One handles large and complex projects.
System specs please.
I've already 'demoed' Presonus Studio using XP, 32, (older system for example; 2.gig Ram), loaded up multiple audio tracks, several instrument plugins and effects such as T-Racks and Ozone. The system handled it all surprisingly well, performance meters well below 50 percent. And I didn't experience any sluggish UI behavior (as mentioned in that thread)..... continue.....
To be fair, I trialed the
demo and I should point out that I didn't have Melodyne ARA activated and my guess is that would drain a lot on system resources however, Melodyne can be disabled/enabled in preferences. For XP 32 users with minimal ram working with Melodyne should still be doable, for more info please visit Celemony's site.
