i really have had no issues with the forum software, whether posting, quoting, adding images or searching, and i will certainly paraphrase Brandon's statement that whatever issues Alex has had, a post count of >1400 indicates that communication isnt one of them :)

Look, I dont stand in the way of any improvements to anything, but some folks dont understand the realities of business with limited funds, scarce resources and challenging priorities but if Cakewalk is going to spend R&D money, quite frankly i would be highly agitated if things were left buggy/unimproved/un-enhanced in Sonar simply to provide some folks with a better forum experience.

The issue has been discussed to death but basically the forums software won't work with a lot of browsers. Lots of issues. If however you navigate with the browsers to the latest version of the software, click aspplayground.net link below and find the demo it works fine. Its simply a matter of upgrading the forums software to the latest version which has better javascript code. As you can see by the date below it hasn't been updated for approx three years. Some people are not effected... Eg chrome users. I may have lots of posts but its been painful. And often I don't have a choice about what browser I can use. Besides many people experience the same issue. Anyway enough, cake has acknowledged it.. Here's to hoping we will have an upgrade within the next few months.

IE9 is the only browser I use.  There hasn't really been anything I haven't been able to do (that I would care to do anyway).  Oh well.
