Just had a listen to the second version...    I think having that melody, using that tone, over the arps works really well.  The bottom is somewhat repetitive but the top is shifting nicely over it, almost like a dream.

Yeah, nice! I especially liked the little galloping thing you did with the percussion, really gets the thing moving right along. I don't know how you cram so much yummy sound in your tracks without it glomming up into a big muddy mess but you do and it sounds wonderful. Thanks for this!

Thank you Kevin, voice selection and/or creation with surgical EQ I find helps keep me out of the quagmire which with this furry coat is really good thing.
