57Gregy
I have autosave turned off. I haven't had a crash in many years.

I may regret writing that.

I wanted to do a little recording tonight. Turned on the music box and...
"Boot disk failure. Insert system disk and press Enter".
Stared at the screen for awhile wondering what a system disk was and did I have one.
Turned the music box off.
Folded some laundry and started the machine again.
It started normally so I quickly backed up all my projects to an external drive then did a little investigating.

The event ID was 7026, which apparently means a driver failed to load, but of course it can't tell you which one, just to go to Microsoft Update and reload/update all the drivers.

I suppose I'll have to connect it to the web (it hasn't been on the internet in over 2 years) and do it.

That's a bad bead 57Gregy. I hope you get it sorted out before you become 60Gregy.

I'm sorry, we can't comment unless you give us your system spec's.

I did a quick search for that 7026 ID code.

What I found said it has something to do with your CDROM and the article said if it keeps happening to do some kind of registry edit.

From Microsoft's web site.

While you're trying to fix this, enjoy some background listening music, from me to you.

Bub, have you been scarred by your experience upstairs?

Next step, if he refuses to answer, I'll give him my cell phone number in a fit of rage. That will teach him! (Did you see that one? Crazy. That's like some insane crazy chick stuff there.)

That link to the Youtube video is freaking funny. And the words fit perfectly.

I'll make a point of listening to it later on.
