McQ might just be all over this.

Does it take a year to get all the parts though?

No ... The toys r us down the street had all the parts I need except the power box ... Actually I built the box from Legos too ... But the components that go in the box are in mail




But the us post office won't deliver on Saturdays anymore stating in August 2013 so who knows when I'll see them 

That's good service actually.  Keeping you guessing when the stuff is going to arrive makes it more meaningful when you do eventually get it.  If you can just pick up the stuff you need there and then it takes away the feeling that something special has finally happened.
 
The value of anticipation is often overlooked.
 
There's much more to buying goods than merely bagging the items you want especially when it comes to Lego.
