Really, because it sure seems like it based on the recent topics.

I'm guessing your comparision is meant to be unfavourable, so I think the ladies and gentlemen who post in the Coffee House deserve an honest explanation to your slander.
 
 

I too would like a further explanation. Seems a bit harsh if you ask me.


You do realize Dave that although there is buffoonery in the CH it's not a negative place. People down there offer help (even on SONAR) with all sorts of music related issues. Friendships are formed. Collaborations happen. I've talked on the phone with at least eight people from the CH and have met nearly all of them in person and  if I haven't, I will one day. I've never once been invited by any of the regulars up here (and I mean the ones who almost never go into the CH) to meet up or have a phone conversation.


So if that is the CH you are referring to, bring it on. It might just liven this forum up a bit. IMHO of course.

I never said it was. However, it is the place for discussions. I thought this was supposed to be a Help forum.

I never said it was. However, it is the place for discussions. I thought this was supposed to be a Help forum. 

So then you don't think it's a negative place but you (imply) that it is NOT a helpful place like this area of the forum. I have pointed out that the CH is a helpful, friendly, musically collaborative place. So again, what is the purpose of this particular thread of yours? It sure seems like it's a "bash the CH" one in a straw man kind of way. Again, IMHO of course.

Really, because it sure seems like it based on the recent topics. 

Just got done looking at the recent topics ..... I don't see anything that suggests the same social atmosphere as the coffee house in the topics I've just read here in the sonar x1 x2 forum. 




Just an observation. 


However I have to add that I've made good friends down there in the coffee house and learned a lot. I make a living through music and have bachelor and masters in music Ed. Not trying to show off my creditials ... Just saying I am serious about music production and it is kinda insulting to read a thread like this. Hey were musicians just like you guys in all the forums. 

Maybe we have less questions and all ready know the answers so we know how to joke down stairs. ;) I kid I kid. 

I am not that insulted that I want to fight on here about it. Just an observation of some ridicoulousness. 


Now on that note I shall return to my hang over thread in the CH down below.

I read the thread topic w/ a smile.  Why is the coffehouse crowd so sensitive? Methinks she doth complain too much.

Who are you calling an "a-hole"? If I'm included in that, then I demand an apology. You don't know me. And I wouldn't want to know you.
 
Mind you, you have to laugh at the irony...

1. Dave slanders the entire Coffee House
2. Dave gets called out on it
3. Dave responds by behaving in just the way he was admonishing others for
