In my view he has just as much right to post a link to a page he thinks would get a laugh from us as anyone else. Further, if we take ourselves too seriously it will be our fault if we go away unhappy. 

You have concerns that are important to you. I suggest you post them in a thread that you start. Maybe just maybe we could all learn something or even help one another.

Craig is a fair minded individual and has shown he can answer any question I may pose eloquently and effectively once today already.
 
I respect the guy I'm not trying to put him down and I'm sure he's not offended either, I'd be surprised if he was.  So why should you be worried about my interaction with someone else?
 
If he starts kicking me because of what I've written then feel free to join in otherwise don't make it appear there's stuff going down that isn't there. 
 

I think you need to reread your post above and than read my post again. No where was a reference to emotion made by me. Nor did I attribute a motive to you.  To me that post was a rebuke to Mr. Anderton's posting. I don't see how it could be viewed in any other way.

I've certainly posed some strong questions related to whether this was a wise thread given the current weather here and respect Craig enough to be able answer or ignore as he wishes.

Please re-read your post.  I think at best that you are deluding yourself.  How can anyone take you seriously if you honestly believe that?
 
I would have more respect for you if you were honest, or self aware.

I do think it is hugely insulting given the current storm up here to be posting glib generalisations such as this while the apparent weather here shows some geniune folk here are having real issues and are having trouble being heard.
 
Does that diminish my respect for Mr Anderton in anyway?  No it doesn't I'm the absolute master at saying the wrong thing at the completely wrong time.
 
One can have strong views about things and pose questions, without feeling a need to shoot someone, it's part of being able to conduct your self as an adult.  Sure I'm being critical.  It just depends whether you are talking about what is being said rather than the messenger. 

It's just a programmer's excuse. There's no such thing as incompatibility between hardware or software...Lol.
