But you did not end it.

I know. I'm a crappy coder. Maybe I could get a job with...

Nope, not gonna do it. ;-p

Anyway... bapu... mah, man. How ya been? I seem to recall a thread of yours mentioning your lad being involved in some of those fancy educational real guitar controllers for the Rock Band (or similar) franchise. I was reading about that coming into play a few years ago and was extremely excited about what that could mean. I had fanciful thoughts of writing some lessons for such a program if it ever became popular. I saw some of the original NAMM footage of it being demo'd back then and it got my juices flowing. Not that I could do much about it at the moment but I'd certainly be interested to read where all that has headed if you have the inside scoop.

And yes... you have every right to be a proud Papa. Very cool stuff. Hope you have been well. Cheers.

Beeps. He works for Ube Soft on Rocksmith.

Yeah, I knew I was getting the actual brand wrong but the tech sounded very similar. I guess I'll take a poke around on my own but thought maybe you'd have some direct links to get me to the meat of it. Just curious is all. I'd really like to see musical instruction head in that direction. It'd get the younglings more likely to pick up the flesh and nail instruments. We could use a new crop of shredders. Cheers.

It's funny, in the days when usenet was popular, on some groups, if someone was trolling they would be met with an avalanche of garbage posts like "lorem ipsum", random news articles, or recipes.  It sent the message that the OP was a troll and was not even worth a response.  Since this is the CAKE forum, posting of recipes might be appropriate should any care to revive the old tradition.

All of those "garbage posts" examples can be found in Bapu's Forum Super Fred.  Must be a coinicidence.

(And please stop with the "old programmer" flashbacks.  I still remember how much fun it was to rubber-cement to cards together about 2/3 of the way into the deck so that the computer reading them would get jammed...  Hehe...)
