Your idea we all sit around open fires in Kilts is not on. But I'm not Bothy-ed.

Regardless of who is chasing who around, and what they're wearing, this is a good piece of music. Mix-wise you are getting the hang of it. Not a kilt joke.

If there is a step wrong, I'd say it's the use of that famous piano arpeggio. Maybe muck it up a little so it's not a friggin' exact copy of Color My World. Don't kilt the originality. Yes, a kilt joke.

Unless you are paying homage, then anything goes.

nice one, keep 'em coming!

Harmonically, it's not even close to color my world.  Eat my shorts Peter Cetera!

A lot of Scottish traditional music is Pentatonic due to the limitations of the instruments used for it.

Well Irish, Welsh, Cornish and other Celtic nations did use this.

The current thing I am working on uses a Japanese Scale. Key of D. However the interval pitches for every octave differ slightly. Using the tuning in EastWest Holywood Strings and the MIDI tuning feature in Sonar I was able to snap to that scale.  Very convenient meaning I wouldn't have to carefully transpose it all manually or play it in that way which would just be as quick I suppose.

Alternate tunings have always frustrated me.  I used to perform classical guitar and do drop d and g tunings. I'm dyslexic and it took me awhile to get used to them.

Unfortunately I redid an old techno track...kind of having a go at improving stuff I done in the past. However some of the new sounds could be used in any genre crossover which is why I'll be offering the samples for download and MIDI. Obviously Sonar Platinum projects minus the plug-ins can be distributed also.
