Greetings!

Well, it's been a while, but I'm in the process of recording a new album of piano compositions. Here is one of the pieces, recorded, mixed and mastered in Sonar. It's a bit of a filmclip of me playing it:

(hmmm, I guess it took my link out. You could look up Wayne Joseph Kington The Changes on youtube.)

Wanted to share, but also, to get some feedback on mixing/mastering aspect. This piece crackles on cheap earbuds during load bits. The piano has a lot of sustain (which I like), but I think the energy of the sound overwhelms some earbud headphones. I'm wondering if I should cut some mid-low frequencies, but at the same time, don't want to change the sound of the piano! How does it sound to you? Ideas?

Appreciated.

Here it is;

Really nice playing. No crits from me on the piano sound (I'm listening at a reasonable volume through decent headphones), I liked it.

Thank you, I'm glad you like the piece! I guess I shouldn't listen on cheap earbuds... otherwise I was happy with it. :)
