The issue is...Sonar is a mature product. It was at the last version of splat. There will be very little development, across DAWs now. For one there is no money in software now...as Bandlab have demonstrated.

I don't and won't use whatever the free version is called - one day I might be forced - but at the moment I've had very few problems with Sonar for many years, and the ones I do have generally have to do with crap 3rd party plugs. What we need to do now is consolidate our knowledge of the digital to transform culture again...as in the past - 1st with the romantics which the modernist avant-gardes then built upon.

:)

I will be thankful for anything that comes down the pike. After all, it's already fabulous and free.

I join what Lynn wrote.
A button to show when ripple editing is on or off.
This is a long awaited must for all of us.

Highlight a portion of the song and "delete and ripple" all tracks and clips like in a video program.  Also insert measures, moving all tracks and clips forward.

Being able to name plugin instances would be nifty...

Very small and useful feature: I would like to easy transient markers grouping (for multitracked instruments). Without too much clicking and searching for pool.
