@godparticle

Way back in post # 103, I offered to assist you with any aspect of any issue you cared to post, regarding problems you were having with Sonar.  That was 4 pages of posts ago.  It was until now my only entry into this thread, and in that post I did not bash you, or Mixcraft - I only offered my assistance to you.

That offer to try to help you stands, again without any bashing or poking at you or Mixcraft.

IF you want to try to iron out any problems with Sonar, you can post details of any issues here, or in new threads, or you can send me details in private messages - whatever method you choose to communicate.

Oh - while you were under the headphones, your mum called down the stairs to say that you are supposed to clean you room and help her fold your clothes, now that she has finished your laundry, and she wanted to know why there were so many hand towels sticking together.

(I tried, I REALLY tried...)

What's a Dog Lice Trap?
Bapu's headphones?

I dunno.

Just trying to be unfunny here since it doesn't seem to work any more down there.

Ryan Munnis [Cakewalk]

To set the record straight, since there seem to be some new conspiracy theories forming, not a single person who has posted in this thread is employed by, nor in cahoots with Cakewalk. If they were, we would have asked them to lock this thread after the first 10 TOS violation reports. We're going upwards of 20 reports here, and it's just now hitting my radar.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, and you're all welcome to voice them, but the moment the conversation evolves from a debate about perception/individual experiences/competitors offerings/etc. to a thread centered around personally bashing other forum members and direct slams against Cakewalk and Cakewalk staff, you've crossed the line.

The tone of this thread isn't actually helpful for anyone.

With that being said, if someone DOES actually want a hand getting SONAR to perform optimally, everyone is welcome to post a thread about their experience and reach out to the community for suggestions. A number of users here have extended the invitation in a very polite way. You're also welcome to give Cakewalk a call and we'll assist.

Even if you're not here to get help but want to discuss how you feel about SONAR X2, we've always welcomed that and have never been into shutting down opinions that might differ from ours or be hard to swallow. You might be surprised to learn that a ton of people on staff here at Cakewalk know all of the "other DAWS" forwards and backwards and have a pretty good idea of the overall state of the product's stability in comparison to competitors, as well as what cool new tech is coming out from other companies as well. Like our friends here in the community, we care a lot about SONAR as well and are constantly working on improving it and raising the bar. We tend not to participate in discussions like this because we really don't have much place in the debate, but it doesn't mean we don't care what people think, whether it be a very vocal minority or not.

The thing is, if you're here just to troll, and you're doing it in an incredibly unproductive way, it's going to result in a ban since it's clearly against the TOS.

Sorry guys, many people's requested it, so I'm locking this one so we can all move on.
