The Maillard Reaction

...that thing I did on Wednesday was going to get it's own press notices:

http://frontrow.espn.go.c...bowl-xxii-performance/

http://www.washingtonpost...g-doug-williams-piece/

I was sent to record a scripted narration track and upload it for the editors.

I'm looking forward to seeing the whole thing. I was told the tracks were good and that it would air at about 10:40 this morning.

Good clean fun.

best regards,
mike

xacto.

The video was cut to a proxy read as access to the vocal talent was uncertain until late in the production cycle.

I met a field producer and then we all met up in a hotel suite and we tracked a few takes of the script as quickly as possible so as to not be to disruptive to any schedules.

I sent the tracks up via wi-fi to ftp from the hotel mingle area and then I got in the car and drove to Dothan.

It was the producers' efforts to coordinate everything that made it seem to happen smoothly.

best regards,
mike

So you ftp'p it to the data banks via 142.7KHz modem into a firewall encryption stack?*

*This is how my son and I make fun of "computer" dialog in movies
