my dear departed mother taught me to never post on an internet forum after drinking beer but i`m throwing caution to the wind and need to paraphrase M Jagger:
"he can`t be a man because he doesn`t smoke the same cigarettes as me".
who really gives a ratsarse what version you use-find one that suits you and your particular needs and hardware and as Sunrise said in the X2 bunfight-learn what you have or move on or words to that effect.
lastly,and this is not a reflection on the talented hobbyist ,but Sonar,at 400 bucks may seem expensive for software but excluding half a dozen sm57`s it is one of the cheapest components in my studio and for insurance purposes represents around 1% of my total investment!
-FFS-all this breastbeating and wailing because version x/y doesn`t work really disappoints me and IMHO drags this and the upstairs forums down.
thumbs up to the Logic/Reaper/StudioOne users who contribute to the coffeehouse and provide some balance.
i hate the term "Fanbois"-it has a negative connotation-i am here cos i`m a fan of Sonar and to be frank,as my dear departed mother used to say:
