I went to the store today and decided to make up some dinner, I admit I was a little concerned but it turned out really good.
Two swordfish steaks, sautéed in olive and butter, seasoned with Old Bay, a splash of lime after put on the plate. Served with fresh peeled peaches mixed with whipped cream.
Sliced yellow squash, baked in olive oil, seasoned with garlic salt and seasoned pepper.
Portabello mushrooms, sautéed in butter, salted.
Diced green pepper and onion, cilantro added, salted, dash of lime juice.
I was really surprised how good the swordfish steaks with fresh peaches and whipped cream was... will do that again and recommend it! The pico type sauce added a god contrast and the squash and mushrooms added a "middle of the road" taste.
I used to make up dishes all the time by browsing the grocery... sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, this time it was surprisingly good.
Bon Appétit...
