Great, just great.  I've already taken to avoiding radio and most TV news because the only things they seem to yap about are negative, so now I've got to avoid forums too?  *Sigh*

Oh well, I've got a couple of bird feeders outside the window and all my little feathered friends seem to be in very good moods so I guess I'll just have to keep talking with them!  (They're my cheep entertainment - hehe...)

Drivel and bufoonery on forums is the only way forward.  Off message is the new on message.
 
Shouting at McQ to attempt to get him to behave well and whining about software is something I've been wasting my time with, everyone else already knew it, so now I need to say it out loud.

Guess you should add automobiles to your list.  While they (mostly) all will get you from point A to point B, none of them are without many design flaws, blems and bugs.  Yet people continue to buy them like they're the greatest things since sliced bread. And don't get me started on bread either.
