i still don`t get it-Willy left Cakewalk in April 2012 so it`s a very belated goodbye and thanks?

Yes, someone mentioned just the other day that they thought Willy had taken a new job.


I Googled his name and found that he had indeed found a new position... and so I posted a notice and a greeting.


Willy really did a great job of taking care of us.


I don't know much about forums but I do know the last time I tried to manage one it was night marish experience where hackers literally spent the whole day trying to ruin the forum I was working on. (a volunteer site for bicycle activism)


I don't think I'll ever be able to understand how hard Willy's job was... but I wanted to let him know I appreciate what he did for us.







Can you do me a favor... can you edit the post that says "R.I.P."   I know it is an innocent mistake... but it lends a macabre air to the thread... and I was hoping to initiate a feel good thread rather than a premature announcement of demise. :-) 

I'm not telling... I'm asking... and hoping :-)

So I guess Willy has his hands full.

Willy has outstanding experiences and qualifications. And I 'guess' it looks like he's continuing to studying further in regards to software development, probably more advance fields of such. I've always found him to be very knowledgeable and helpful. He's a great guy, I wish him all the very best!
