Check out Fazortan from D16 Group. It's the tweaker's phaser, with two independent LFOs (5 waveforms + random) that can be tempo-synced. Probably not what you're looking for if you just want a simple classic phaser (although it does that, too).

I'd try the U-he uhbik-p phaser.
Did not try it myself.
I like their flanger.

Mutron Bi Phase

If you want your strings to sound like Jean Michelle Jarre then this is the one. They made a single channel pedal type as well which also sounds great.

Hey there is another one there for only £1,072.53 !!!
How ridiculous and to think some idiot is going to buy it! It would be worth $100 or less really.

All you need is this:

Wouldn't you rather blow $39 and get the same sound.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! Looks like I'll be downloading some demos - though I'm liking the idea of throwing in a hardware phaser quite a bit. But this will have to wait.

Bit, actually judging from the demos, it sounds pretty close to what I had in mind. Thanks for the tip.

If you're getting that good a deal on D16 plugins, consider picking up Redopter while you're at it. It's a distortion plugin with a unique sound to it, and my go-to plugin for drum distortion. A little bit gives a nice crack to snares, a lot of it makes toms sound like firecrackers going off. I've also used it on electric pianos for an edgy aggressive effect.
