MIkes question begs this comment about the security and pairing.
Much Like wireless routers where the user leaves the password at its default, I wonder how many musicians would leave the BT pairing at 1234.

The default code varies with device.  For most bluetooth ear pieces I've seen (the type you'd use with a phone) it's 0000 and is coded into the ear piece. The code for my car is also had coded.

The device manual tells you what the code is.

As far as the FX,  couldnt you just insert a track with your presets (with the volume down) 

then gradually bring his volume down as you bring your tracks volume up?

I think Mike's idea is to go to a gig and if he doesn't like the band, mess with the guitarists FX board by hacking into the bluetooth connection used by the remote pedal board...
