In our cover band (during my high school days) we used to play Bouree and Nothing Is Easy. We actually played both songs at a battle of the bands one week after our lead guitarist got his first (EVER!!!!) flute. He had been playing the flute part on guitar but he never owned a flute or played one before that time. That cat could pick anything up (instrument of parts of songs) in nothing flat

He did not know about the flame throwing flute though. He would have been all over that like white on rice.

I can play most anything in nothing, and nothing flat... not to mention nothing sharp.
 
But it's really nothing at all...  what I play, that is.

Man on man. I spent nearly all day yesterday trying to "rework" one of my tunes from about 1985 or so. I've come to the conclusion that I probably would need to start all over and I'm not sure I want to.

You know, I had the intention to salvage as much as I could, as my main concern was guitars, but, so far, the only thing which remains from the old track are 2 synth bass parts - actually, these would have been the easiest part to re-record. 


What makes it a bit longer is that I'm so used to hearing it one way that I need to give it a bit of time whenever I replace something, because it doesn't sound "as it should".
