And don't call me Shirley ;) The sarcasm is positive BTW there will be issues and if and when that happens I hope the forums will be vocal about it. There is always a solution eventually...

Strummy, I sometimes grapple with your humour, trying to understand the difference in cultures, but DO understand.
I also, do agree with some of the points you raised in seriousness.
You may be the older boy that made us do it,,,
 
I HOPE it will all settle out, I do feel there will be rough spots, feelings hurt, and users leaving..
 
BUT why spotlight THIS sub, when, in reality, isn't the CRAP really upstairs"??meaning the X forum, songs(sniping), and software (do I have to really point out the issues?)...forum kontrol there, yes we get rowdy like a pub brawl, but usually we self policed.

Steve and I are from the same country so I get it. Let's look at the logic here, if Cakewalk wanted to make the forums so only their voice could only be heard they would be using Cakewalk only employees to 'host' these forums. Not only that if hosts go beyond their remit (it will happen once or twice it is inevitable ) the community will let their voice be heard. And that will be damn right. Any 'host' who behaves like an idiot will not longer be a host obviously. Otherwise business as usual we are here just shunt posts around really unless things get really stupid.

Poor Steve, first oppression by the Monarchy and now this!  Maybe the "hosts" should be called princes, dukes, princesses and duchesses? 
 
(Yes, I do get it, but humor and sarcasm are my ways of avoiding the actual issue.)
