I would like to get some feedback on this song before I do the final recordings.
I intend to re-record everything but I just want to make sure the song works first, so shoot on everything.

I really liked it.  You gave good variety to your central motif throughout the piece.  Likewise its a very memorable phrase.  Only thing I might suggest is cutting off some bars at the beginning and get to the vocals quicker.

I am aware of the long intro, I'll see what I come up with instead.

I liked it...     It's got some attitude, crunch, and an overall cool vibe.  A little prog-metal-ish NIN perhaps.
 
The only mix nits I would point out are that the vocals get a bit lost sometimes, the drums could stand more presence to drive things, and the main guitar riffs are somewhat centered and could use a little L/R spread.  Nits on a good song.

Cool that you liked the song.

I will re-record most of the gutars, it's a little untight in some parts and I have a little twist that I want to implement still. But that's the last detail that isn't in these demos.

Then I will fatten up the guitars and mix it properly. I will post the the final recordings when I'm done for some last mixing tips.

Since it's not a final recording/mix I'll not comment on any of the mixing issues (as I see them).
 
The song seems like it's worth re-recording IMO.
