daryl1968, I was actually deliberately not referencing any one post in particular, as I would rather not make anything that "personal" as doing so would go against the very point that I am trying to make in this particular discussion.
Rather, I am thinking of an overall tendency that has crept into the CH from time to time over the last several months, starting with some of what Beagle has referenced earlier in the thread, and when some of that discussion ended up going in a more negative personal direction.
That series of events, IMO, did end up starting to change the culture in the CH, and that it has been, at times, a less friendly place since.
Although I may not always succeed, I try very hard to never attack a person: discussion - hopefully honest and constructive, or at least intended that way - with a person about a concern or issue IMO is certainly fair, but not an attack on a person, again IMO.
In the end, one certainly can agree to disagree on an issue, and hopefully remain friends.
