I think you need to realise that staring may offend some people and that you should take this into account before encouraging people to stare.
Some people just don't like it
and others will feel the need to complain about the staring on behalf of the people who may have been offended but haven't even seen it because they're not here.
Others still may not mind the staring, but will be offended by the concept of blinking. It is after all a word that is occaisionally used as a substitute for a naughty word....."where did I put my blinking keys......" for example. We all know that the word in their head wasn't really "blinking" was it ? Therefore, the implied use of profanity may offend some people.
I did think that maybe it would just be safer not to post anything at all.......ever. But then someone's bound to complain that everyone is ignoring them now and that it is offensive . Or someone will complain on behalf of those that don't know that they are being ignored because they do not come here any more and therefore don't know that people are ignoring them behind their backs, which is mean.
