Good morning luminaries....

Ok...I received a copy/authorization for Amplitube 3.0 that was included with my recent gift of BIAB.
After finally surviving the authorization guantlet (about 45 minutes of hell) I did get it installed/authorized.

I haven't found many presets in this Amp v3.0 but after finding one I thought I would work with it further.

What I'm totally baffled by is how to integrate it and record into Sonar 5.0PE?  (Sonar using Delta 44 w/WDM - Amplitube using Delta ASIO driver)
It's not in the tools menu.
I see no choice to access it within the Sonar menus.
I did briely check out the IK forum but did not find it helpful as of yet.

Don't know if I'm totally daft, actually missing something simple or misunderstanding it's intended usage or application.

If anyone can offer some guidance on my Amp/Sonar quandry I'll buy us a pitcher of Sam Adams (no Hamm's or Bud Light).

Thank you....carry on

Sounds like you are trying to use a 64bit plug, in a 32bit host.   Try dl'ing the 32 bit version of Amplitube, and installing that.   What's your os?  Xp?

Hey Linear Phase....
The DAW is still XP/SP3 and is about 7 years old so I'd presume it's 32 bit only.
During the install there was no reference to 32/64 bit versions but it did install on my archaic OS and I can access (however few) some patches.

I've checked properties of every file related to this version (3.7.1) and there's no reference to 32/64 bit version.

EDIT:  I found the VST folder and was able to add it into Sonar.
During install it created a total different "VST Plug-ins" folder and I've got it as a VST in Sonar.

Thanks for chiming in LP and helping me think this one through.

I also received T-Tracks and SampleTank authorizations should anyone have any comments on these two?

Carry on....
