synkrotronCheddar Cheese, the more mature the better for me. Cheese and drink? I went through a faze of soaking a blue cheese with Port. Not had it for a bit, probably because I am supposed to be "tea total..."
outland144k On Christmas Eve, after the church service, I am fond of having a nice, good-sized chunk of excellent cheddar and a bomber of an micro-brewed ale called The Gift of the Magi while reading the Christmas story from Luke 2 by the light of the Christmas tree and Advent wreath we have on the kitchen table. It is one of my fondest times of the year. Christmas Day is always crazy here, so it gives me a wonderful, quiet, God-given respite for a few minutes.
jyoung60I ate a date 31 years ago; ended up marrying her. Now that's a lifetime date.
synkrotronsome of us a doing pretty well, then eh?
jamesg1213A strange but delicious combo that my late father-in-law told me about - slice of fruit cake, piece of extra mature cheddar, glass of single malt. Laaavlee.
