It's taken time to go through several DAW software package trials, but after hours of learning new ways to spend my hard earned cash, plenty of scotch, a few tears (well a lot actually .. all be-it metaphoric) I think I know why I have to leave Platinum behind. Not that it won't go on for ages, 'cause I think it will, but I'm off the tit and finding out that there IS a life beyond Cakewalk… Hats off to them for all their work but when you look at Cubase 9.5 Pro crossgrade for about 230 English pounds! Added to which it has awsum usability (vertical learning curve given), why would you not move on?
I'll have to agree with those who say 'it's just a bit of software', and it is … still it was great hanging with the other loons and the cynics here ... well they can go and do whatever cold hearts do!
