I would liked to have seen the screen shot.

LOL !  that's what I was thinking when I posted.

I posted two. One that tells ya that it's gathered the bug info so they can check it out and the
other telling you that you're screwed, Windows is screwed, anything that wasn't saved is screwed
and tuff....it's shutting you down. LOL.

Ya know....that may be root problem. Maybe they do expect me to fix it. :)

Bub
I'm in the midst of it right now with some kid upstairs who's mommy and daddy told him he was Omnipotent.

I don't mind batting around with them until it starts to get out of hand. Then I usually say one last thing and leave it alone. Usually.

I love pointing something out to them that they can't defend or deny and then watch as they have a melt down.

I should probably get a hobby or something rather than go troll hunting on the Sonar forums.

As for your problem Spacey ... sorry to hear it. X1 was a horrid nightmare for me. X2 seems to be working really well, although I did have one little scare last night. I had to click the on/off button on an amp sim in TH2 about 50 times to get it to turn on. But honestly, that's the first hiccup I've had with X2 ... on the same exact system that X1 brought to a grinding halt.

Yet, they always say it's the computer, it can't be Sonar.

It's really enough to make ya say ***k it after a while and get one of those little 4 track digital recorders and dig out our old stomp boxes. A buddy of mine has an 8 track one with built in CD burner. He's never touched it, he bought it to use and lost interest. I've been trying to get him to send it to me to 'keep it safe' but he won't. Heh. He's extremely unstable. If he would ever get in to this DAW stuff, I could see him taking his PC outside and shooting it. He's done it to other things he's owned. He poured lighter fluid on a Gibson Flying V one time and torched it because it sounded and played like crap.

Good luck!

OH! By the way ... I took some of your advice you gave in another thread and I'm SOOOO glad I did. They poured concrete in our building and I put in a sweep to run electrical so I wouldn't have to cut a hole in the side of the building. It all came out really nice. I'll have to take some updated pics and post.

Thanks.

I sure don't understand X2a Bub.
Out of almost two decades of using Cakes programs this is the weirdest I've
tried to work with.

For instance.....changing the height of a track cratered it. It froze, whiped all drawn wav
forms, fired up the bug report that it sends and then cratered Windows and shutdown
the PC. LOL....asked what I was doing when it happened...so I told it, "changing track height"......what a shame. Hope the bakers don't attack me for answering it...hijacking a bug report!

Sure glad that slab/building worked out for you. Look forward to seeing the pics.
