I had been hankering after a Les Paul since a teenager, and you know how it goes..life gets in the way.. but every time I went into a store my eyes would raise to the top row of the unreachable guitars.. fell in lust with desert burst about 5-7 years ago, and while browsing sweetwater, where they have photos of each individual guitar in stock, i saw this one and my eyes popped...
It is uncommon to see quilted maple, and when you do see it, its usually large splotches, this one is like a flame/quilt hybrid and it is indeed drop dead gorgeous with a tone to match...
