quantumeffects, I noticed you now live in MN..what part?  I spent my first 25 years in MN and all of my family still lives there.  I am actually visiting in St. Paul right now.  It's a little cooler than TX, but nice to be back.

I'm in Plymouth ... and was in St. Paul today having lunch at the Swede Hollow Cafe.
We've been here for about a year and a half now and I am starting to adjust.  Prior to MN, I lived in NJ for 47 years.

Yep, it takes some adjusting.  I grew up in Wayzata, staying with my brother in St. Paul.  The kids are enjoying the snow.  Been doing some sledding, but don't last very long outside.  We're here until Friday and then head back to Dallas.  The funny thing was that it snowed in Dallas yesterday.

Yea, my kids are in the Wayzata (Y - zeta) school system.

Can you say passive aggressive.  I know they call it Minnesota nice but I really think it is an American-Scandinavian thing ... a bit different than north Jersey ;-)

I prefer passive- assertive.  :-).   Minnesotan's are easily underestimated.
