Yes, lots of information. However, too long, didn't read. The M/S vid I posted, "I use!" Less filling, and tastes great :-) I use a Neumann U87AI as my figure 8 mic, and a Mojave Audio MA100 as the mid, through some nice pre-amps, and I am very happy with the results.

I've heard great things about the Mojave mics, especially the tube mics. I use an older sE tube condenser and also a RODE NT1-A, and have had good luck with both.



I use the Mojave MA-200 and like it a lot - 12" out pointed at the 12th fret. I will on occasion add a mic at my ear and typically I also do a DI (typically I run both through a UA 4-710d). I keep the micced version 'clear' but I may mangle the DI quite a bit but keep it very very soft.
