Well they probably have enough room to house all the remaining copies of SONAR.

Gibson Execs just trying to build up cash to fund their Parachutes! They have trashed the company and want to fill their pockets as they bail out! This could be a good sign that they would take an offer for Sonar?

The factory property is in downtown Memphis. The buyers could use it for ANYTHING. It could be the site of a new shopping complex, for example. The odds of them having any interest in Sonar would seem to be quite low.

Very true.  "Zero" is quite low.

Linear Phase
This has nothing to do with making guitars or, "saving," Gibson.   Gibson is simply being turned into, "Nike."   Gibson will not actually manufacture anything.   Everything, "Gibson," or Phillips, or Cakewalk, or Sonar - everything, and everything that is branded like this is all going to be a licensing and marketing operation; everything will be manufactured by contract factories in Asia or, "wherever exists the cheapest bidder."

The purchases of any properties formerly owned by Gibson brands is simply, "a real estate deal," and nothing more.
