they have a legit reason to protest

They might stand firm in the cold light of day, but when the debate gets heated enough their leadership will melt-down and any argument they may have had will end up being watered down until the point they are making eventually evaporates.

I don't see anything actually breaking.  Potentially melting, IMO, is rather different from breaking.

Though I suppose it could be braking news, as it did get me to stop and look.

And is it really "news" or is it recycled olds?
