Well, being way older, yes, everyone just about has had a sore shoulder at one time or another. It occurs. Take a small aspirin daily (heart disease type-81mg chewable), and if you can move your shoulder in a exercise routine, but not a difficult one, not lifting anything. Usually I go to my chiropractor because my back is out, or usually also it is a virus because there are millions of those. In the end though none of that may help very much, but sooner or later it will go away, at least mine did, and other people who have had sore shoulders have also finally ended that episode. If you can not take aspirin, take something like that, which may help. Never been pleasant, and it seems like a pain at the time, but sore shoulder is something I never get anymore. ?? Why it comes in the first place, I do not know. Heat pad, massager, can help. Bacteria has also been increasing because of the weather also (enough to fell big trees because bacteria can eat out the roots of trees if the temp is not getting cold enough in the winter. This year it is cold enough, but that is what others have stated. Sorry if this is all ran together, for I am in Firefox. Toxins build up, exercise a little helps that out though. A little bit of everything helps.
