Thank you guys!
Mike I was very surprised with the sound.
It is nerve racking when it's time to plug a build in
for the first time so this one was real exciting. When I heard
it....nothing but smile. Just loved the tones.
No certificate but I do sign them inside.
I had ordered a custom decal from some guy on Ebay that
I was suppose to receive the 7th...still no show.
I got a beautiful Holly wood block so for my next one I think
I'll design a logo and inlay the head plate.
The hard part is to stop playing them. This one was
very hard to unplug.
You know how it is when a guitar just fits. This one
really fit.
It's a 12" radius and the action, intonation and feel is just
outstanding. The new Schaller Da Vinci tuners are not only
beautiful but perform.
The first time one is plugged in I just check the wiring. If no issues
I then fine tune the nut and do the set-up. That's when I know if it's
going to sing. It will or it won't. I'm just in love with this one.
Herb I have some chrome hardware so got to compare-and I sure agree with you.
The gold looks many times better with this wood.
I don't have scales but it seem to weigh the same as my stock Fender Tele.
Well I got the build book ordered and when it arrives I'll
watch the weather and take a 2,000 mile drive.
Oh...there was one big fluke with this one...
When I measured to set the bridge I went ahead and
set the saddles. When I started doing the set-up and checked
the intonation every one was balls on. Nothing but a pure freaky thing.
I thought something was wrong...just plain weird...didn't have to touch
a single saddle. It's just a very special one...something I can't explain.
