Yep.  My player had one of those too (for any 45 that I didn't already have a center plug in).
 
One thing I can't remember though, what size hole did the 78's have?  The same as 45's?  Or?   I still remember turning songs into the Chipmunks by playing them using the 78 setting on my turntable when I was young...
