Middleman

I didn't pay any bills this month, just on the outside chance......

And this is good how?

And what happens if nothing happens?

Late fees?
That's the idea, betting on the come.

The 21st is my 40th birthday, so on a personal level it feels kinda like the end of the world.

Don't fret 40.
Life at 40+ is good.

Thanks for the encouragement, Jim. Hopefully, if I feel the need to purchase anything in some midlife crisis lapse of judgement, it'll be something less like a red convertible and more like a paisley Strat.

Is NASA predicting a "total blackout" of Earth on Dec. 23 to Dec. 25? NASA Charles Bolden new video. FEMA be aware and ready emergency preparedness. Why make video and a recent safety exercise if nothing will happen?

I'm sure and hope nothing will happen but be aware. IF something will happen and government know about it already they will not tell you about it until its too late anyway. It's because it will create a mass hysteria, economic collapse around the world if they stated the world will end as we know it and it start in December 21 2012. Think about it!

Your video says nothing about a "total blackout" - just family preparedness discussions for NASA employees and their families. Following an ANNUAL planning event of govt departments and agencies on responding to natural emergencies. No conspiracy. All this angst because the Mayans ran out of room on their ROCK calendar. LOL.

Freddie, as a guy who has worked on many, many of this type of documentaries, let me tell you there is very little for you to worry about.

It kinda goes like this....A network exec does some market research into what might be interesting to a target audience. Then hires a productions company to produce a show. The production company hires a 25 year old kid just out of college who will work for little money to research, shoot and round up some "experts". The kid "writes" the show and the network exec makes sure everything is hyped up. Many facts get turned into twisted interpretations to draw an audience. Then they go hire a music composer (me) to make everything sound mysterious, crazy and cool.

After all that they run out and sell advertisements...

I want to believe! Man!

My current favorites: UNSEALED - Alien FIles and UNSEALED - Conspiracy Files

I could watch those shows all day long, though it was a sad day for me when it was revealed Big Foot was just a hoax. I so wanted to devote my life to finding him...

Well, considering that Nostradamus' predictions go out to the year 3797 ... I'd say we're pretty safe.
But where is he now? Hmmm!

This was only meant to prepare them in case of layoffs due to Goverrnmant reductions in funding for programs that are really going somewhere.

As for the Mayan Calendar, there was going to be a follow up but the Mayan people mysteriously disappeared before the next one could be commisioned for production. Just comes down to bad timing, that's all...

One theory for their disappearance could be ailen abduction. I mean, with all those ancient runways and stuff etched into the countryside. Makes you wonder.

Ancient people were pretty mysterious for sure.

Albert Einsten did not predict that the world would end. What on earth are you talking about?

I presume that link is meant to demonstrate Einstein "predicting" the end of the world in 2012. Well, firstly, the observation that without bees we wouldn't have pollination and therefore wouldn't have lots of plant life and therefore would be fairly screwed in short order is uncontroversial, and not particular to Einstein. However, there are still plenty of bees knocking around. There is no global bee disappearance phenomena underway.

How can you take that link seriously? It's such a blatant crank page.
