..I've refrained from asking but I really get
the feeling (from listening) to people that they
do want the world to end. ( they believe that's what the calendar means)
I am referring to people I'm around at work and such.
 
I've been thinking that they think they will make it and have
a better life because there won't be so many...I think that's because
they just don't seem to care for people that aren't like them.
Just weird to me but...I get paid to be around them :)
 
 
 
 

It better not. I've got a plane ticket and big plans next week in Southern California.

Yeah... lots of selfish jerks think they're going to be rewarded or some crap at the end of it all and are egging it on. It makes trying to enjoy our current plain of existence very difficult and frustrating. 

This reminds me of the last time the world ended.  It was immediately replaced with a look alike and everybody else acted like they couldn't tell the difference.

Seriously, though, after the 21st, you could try pretending you can't see them anymore.  See if you can convince them that they're already gone.

It wouldn't surprise me if people prone to believing in this "the world is going to end!" kind of stuff weren't also prone to having other (completely unnecessary) problems in their life - on top of all the normal problems all of us have.

I do find it interesting that NASA just reported finding a very large asteroid very close and heading for a possible near miss with Earth though...

Of course, I just made all of that up but I'm sure someone will probably believe it!
