It's not mastered yet, but this is the first track from an album I'm working on.
My first attempt at a "storyline" song, and mostly a true story.  Any critiques, comments, or suggestions?

PS.  If BayouBill is looking for another crazy lady, this muse is probably still available...

Recorded in Sonar Platinum.  Drums are Addictive Drums, bass and guitars are real but run through Ampeg SVX and Amplitube, horns are NI Session Horns.  I can't remember which piano synth I used.

it's a well crafted song, and you kept interesting things happening throughout.  Reminded me a little of late 70's punk songs but done more mello.

Thanks Eph!
I hadn't heard much 70s punk in it, but there's definitely some in my background.  I guess you can't wash it away with age.

Shameless bump.  Anyone else listen to it?
I tried hard to make a 3-chord song evolve.  It started out as a slow blues track, went into Klezmer when I wrote that first lead guitar line as a trumpet, then went to reggae, then finally back to what it turned out to be.

Nice sorta 60's punkabilly vibe happening.

Everything sounds about right to me, and I liked the live feel but with everything still in its place.  And the half-tempo change at the end was a nice touch.
